What is the Report Section?

The Report Section is where you can share your experience of an unknown or suspicious call with the rest of our community. If you have received a call from a number that felt off — whether it was a scammer, a telemarketer, or simply a number you did not recognise — this is where you tell others about it.

Every report you submit is added to our database and shown on that number's result page. That means the next person who searches that number sees your experience before they decide whether to call back — and can make a safer, more informed decision because of it.

Think of it as a community notice board for phone numbers. The more people report, the more accurate and useful the information becomes for everyone. Your 30 seconds of effort could save someone else from a scam, an unwanted charge, or an uncomfortable conversation.

Why Reporting Matters

Every report on Who Called Me starts with one person deciding to take 30 seconds to warn others. That single report can reach hundreds of people who search that same number, people who would otherwise have no way of knowing what to expect when they call back.

How Does Reporting Work?

Reporting a number on Who Called Me is straightforward. Enter the number you received a call from, select the call type, give it a safety rating, and hit submit. If you have more detail to add, the optional fields are there for you to describe what the caller said, how many times they called, and when it happened.

You do not need an account, an email address, or any personal information to submit a report. The entire process is anonymous and takes less than 30 seconds from start to finish.

Once submitted, your report goes straight into our database where it is matched against existing reports for that number. If others have reported the same number before, your report adds to the picture and strengthens the overall verdict shown to future users who search it.

What Happens After You Report?

As soon as you submit, your report is added to our database and linked to that phone number. It becomes visible on that number's result page immediately, so anyone who searches it after you will see your experience straight away.

If other users have already reported the same number, your report joins theirs to build a fuller picture of that caller. The more reports a number has, the more accurate the safety verdict becomes for everyone who looks it up.

Your report stays in our database as a permanent reference. Even months later, if someone receives a call from that same number and searches it, your experience will be there to help them decide what to do.
